Dominique Ropion, a French master perfumer born in Paris in 1955, has become one of the leading figures in contemporary perfumery. Since his promising beginnings at the Roure perfumery school (now Givaudan), he has established himself as a benchmark in the world of luxury, thanks to his exceptional sense of olfactory balance and composition.
A prestigious career in luxury perfumery
He has collaborated with prestigious, but today, Dominique Ropion also creates his own fragrances through his personal brand, Aphorismes by Dominique Ropion, launched in 2024 exclusively at Jovoy, with a refined style and consistent high quality standards. Through these different creations, Dominique sought to take a fresh look at the major fragrance families.
