"In creating Liqueur BPM, I envisioned a place and time, Montmartre and Pigalle at the turn of the last century, the marvelous artistic, creative, and underground effervescence, the fate of the cursed poets and artists who reinvented the world, our conception of shapes and colors, our aesthetic grammar, our vision of beauty. They relied on substances, imaginative boosters, which they smoked, drank, breathed, and felt, to reach a level of consciousness that frees them from conventions and the already done. Absinthe, tobaccos, intoxicating nights in a world without conventions. Macerations and composts, distillations and mixtures. The poets of then, as well as the poets of today, imagine a new vision of beauty aided by these enhancers. Liqueur BPM is an ode to these ethereal visions."
