Founded in 1643, on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV, Trudon is the oldest active waxmaker in the world. During the 17th century, the company became Manufacture Royale de Cire, the official supplier to the French court and to Napoleon I.
For several decades, Trudon has been developing scented candles in partnership with renowned perfumers, as well as offering reproductions in coloured wax. Since 2017, the brand has extended its expertise to include a range of perfumes.

Everything about
TRUDON
Born during the reign of Louis XIV, Trudon is the oldest active waxmaker in the world.
The factory became Manufacture Royale de Cire, the official supplier to the French Court and to Napoleon I. It has survived the centuries by modernising and adapting to history. In 1889, it won a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition and other awards for the intelligence of its know-how, which remains as innovative as ever.
Trudon has been developing scented candles for several decades and, as part of its partnership with the Réunion des Musées Nationaux, also offers reproductions in coloured wax.
In 2017, in response to the world of candles, the House of Trudon extended its expertise to include a range of masculine and feminine skin fragrances.
