Description
Plum in Cognac Vintage 2024 was born from a challenge we hadn’t anticipated: the exhaustion of our vintage barrels after repeated use. Unlike the new barrels we can replace identically, vintage barrels—whose origins and craftsmanship are unknown—cannot be replicated, making each batch of alcohol aged in them truly one-of-a-kind.
So, alongside perfumer Pascal Gaurin, we reworked the formula from the barrel up, carefully adjusting the blend to complement the new barrel’s unique profile. The result is Plum in Cognac Vintage 2024: more gourmand, less boozy; more vetiver-forward, less rum-soaked. Perhaps easier to love—certainly just as beautiful.
