"Oud is one of the richest elements nature ever produced, issued from a fortunate meeting of a mushroom with a rare wood essence: it is extracted from a precious and extremely rare to produce resin (Agar wood) that comes from a not much scattered tree, the Aquilaria. For an optimal quality, the tree must be at least 15 years old before distillation and before collecting, drop by drop, its essence. For The Different Company Bertrand Duchaufour selected the most beautiful Oud absolute during a trip to Laos especially dedicated to visit several sustainable plantations and created two exceptional fragrances with different horizons: Oud Shamash and Oud for Love. "
